Carolyn Bessette Kennedy gifted this coat to Rosemarie Terenzio during the 1990s. Rosemarie recalls: 'Carolyn decided she didn't want to keep it as she thought it was too 'Miami girl' for New York!'. A true city girl, coats were a staple in Carolyn's wardrobe. She typically favored a darker and more practical color palette of black and beige. 

The Fashion Auctioneer was founded by Lucy Bishop in 2026. The independent auction house specializes in exceptional fashion and holds sales throughout the year.
